„Implositions“ was the name of the first record and thus eponymous for the „Implositions Trio“. The work of three musicians committed for a longtime to this musical form so called free improvisation.
The music of this trio is a simultaneous exploration of the sonic possibilities of music and an immersion into the unknown forces that underlies the form and forms that arise from the act of improvising freely. The „Implositions Trio“ dives into the turbulent waters of improvised music to find under that apparent disorder the meaningful musical forms that beats and breaths underneath that surface giving them, perhaps, a different life. In this journey they hope to bring up some motifs for reflection and enjoyment to those who approaches their music.

„Implositions“ was inspired by apparent opposites and contradictions. As the first release from Matthias Müller (Trombone), Ricardo Tejero (Saxophone), and Vasco Trilla (Percussion), the experimental project is an inquiry into physics, metaphysics, and the root causes of tension that hold our world together; the resulting extended tracks are balanced explorations of those competing forces. Incorporating ambient noise, distorted brass, and scattered percussion, the music is punctuated and structured by negative space, looking for natural implosions of sound. This free improvisation is a cerebral gesture at the spontaneous dialogue between unmediated spaces, and an impressive debut work.
