Matthias, Andreas, and Christian have known each other for many years through various ensembles and are now performing together as a trio for the first time — named after the legendary album by Albert Mangelsdorff!
They interpret compositions by the great German jazz musician and trombonist, who passed away 20 years ago — not as straightforward covers, but as starting points for new improvisations, placing his music in a fresh, contemporary context.
